A new comedy titled Back on the Strip will serve as the first film for the newly launched Luminosity Entertainment production studio. Back on the Strip marks the theatrical directorial debut of Chris Spencer, the executive producer, and writer of the hit series Grown-ish. Luminosity will finance, produce and distribute the picture domestically as well as handle international sales. Moreover, Haddish and Snipes will executive produce the film in addition to their starring roles. The film follows a young man named Merlin, portrayed by Spence Moore. After moving to Las Vegas to pursue his dreams of becoming a magician, a costume malfunction occurs. After his private parts are exposed, Merlin is recruited to become the frontman of a famous male revue group and goes on a journey to find success and get back the girl of his dreams. In a statement, director Chris Spencer reveals his excitement to begin production on the comedy.
